Our extensive garden has evolved gradually over the years and leads into an old orchard which has been planted with specimen trees and shrubs.

In summer,wide paths are mown between the long grass which is intermingled with wild flowers.

 

 

High in the terraced gardens is the Summer House which is an ideal spot for observing wildlife or just taking it easy and enjoying the view.

The large pool is home to the Great Crested Newts and during the summer many different types of dragonfly are to be seen.

Being a member of Shropshire Wildlife we support native species from Barn Owls and Red Kites down to Bumble Bees.

For garden lovers, there are numerous well known gardens to visit in the area. One of the best examples is Powis Castle near Welshpool - half an hour's drive away.
